PEDAGOGUE OF IAS EDUCATION
To supplement India’s need for better leaders and to lend this country a promising future, Sushil Kumar Singh established Prayas IAS Study Circle in August 2002. His intent behind starting this study centre was to infuse brilliant minds in the administration of this country that can aptly strategies and implement changes required for India to climb up to the stature of being a developed nation. In the last 14 years, the study circle has been able to coach hundreds of students for civil services and IAS examinations. Under his able guidance, more than 150 students have been selected in the civil services examination and more than 500 students have been selected under different areas. Besides being the director of Prayas IAS Study Circle, Sushil Kumar is also the Honorary Director of Yadunath Singh Research Foundation of Public Administration, Dehradun.
A BOX OF TALENT
Sushil is not just a successful mentor but also a person of impeccable professional demeanour and a motivational speaker. His down-to-earth attitude makes it easy for his students to earn more than just knowledge. He is a prolific civil services exam faculty, an excellent writer and a creative columnist. He is also a political and administrative analyst and has done research on these sectors. To highlight his skills, he has around 1500 articles published in renowned throughout the length and breadth of the country. Sushil Kumar is also a pro in organising conferences and has, by far, strategies and executed innumerable National-level Conferences and State-level Seminars and Workshops on Good Governance. He has also been a common face in many debates and discussions organised by various TV channels in the country.
Keeping in mind the amount of effort Sushil Kumar Singh has put in over a decade to nurture young minds with administrative skills, he has been felicitated with innumerable titles. He has been awarded as an educationist, a writer and a researcher. Some of the titles conferred upon him are ‘Uttarakhand Ratan’, ‘Indian Plan Award’, ‘Vishisht Vibhuti Samman’, ‘Sahitya Shiromani Samman’, ‘Inext Achievers’ Award, ‘Amar Ujala Achiever Award’, ‘Uttarakhand Shri Award’, ‘Dr A P J Abdul Kalam National Personality Award’ and ‘Uttarakhand Uday Shree Samman’ award, Globe Platinum Award-2016 (Asia Pacific), Brand Icon Award & Education Leadership Award. All these awards not just speak of his talent but also speak of the amount of contribution he has made to the society. But as it is said, there is much for him to prove his mettle and we are pretty sure his future endeavors will surely lend a golden touch to the Indian administrative wing.
